Blood Bone Michael Jai White
I have been waiting for this straight-to-dvd movie, ever since I read a quick caption about it, in a MMA magazine. Not to mention, seeing previews for it on Spike TV, during the premiere of The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights. First off, the lead actor, Michael Jai White. A multi-facated actor who DOESN'T just have to do movies of this sort, to make up his movie resume. He has been in countless, diverse, projects in his career. Second, Actual Martial Arts Credibility. Seven Black Belts in seven different styles, and still has the capacity to learn more. Third, this is the about movie. The plot: Reminds me of Kung Fu(David Carradine R.I.P.), wanderer comes out of nowhere with a shawdowy past, who uses his martial art skills, both physically and mentally, to right wrongs. But the twist is, it is not "cookie-cutter". Great Action, Great supporting cast(i.e., Nona Gaye, Eamon Walker, etc.), Hard-core MMA cameos(i.e., Gina Carano, Kimbo Slice, Bob Sapp, etc.) If you don't get this dvd, then YOU need to be kicked in the face.

I watched his latest movie; Blood and Bone. And he's would make a badass action star. Do you think it's cause he has muscles and he's black?
BalasHapusi have been into street fighting movies like blood and bone (michael Jai White) Fighting (Channing Tatum) movies like those, just, something thats more current, nothing in the 80's and 90's, within the 2000-2012 era. i dont want no foreign movies, Japanese themed, no jet li, jacki chan, jean claude van damme. if anyone could help that would be great
BalasHapusi know never back down is a good mma movie , got any other good kickboxing or mma movies that i should watch that aren't boring and that aren't just about fighting . please and thanks you .
BalasHapusSo i've been watching alot of fighting movies lately (undisputed, karate kid, blood and bone etc) where there's mostly these flying dudes with big skills. So i started looking around on the internet on some of these fighting types and came across Tae Kwon Do and Karate. Which one of these is the one where you jump into the air to do kicks, to roundhouse kicks etc. And currently i'm kinda overweight so is it good for me to join these martial arts? If not then what are good fighting styles for an overweight boy(I'm 14 and go to gym 3 times a week.) Please don't suggest boxing because i'm more into high flying fighting (even if my body isn't very good for it). So, which one will teach me the basics that famous actors (Michael Jai White, Scott Adkins etc ) use in their movies? Or are they masters in every style (taekwondo, karate, muay thay?)
BalasHapusThe white shirt he is wearing in the final fight of Blood N Bone. Does this type of shirt, or sweat shirt, have a specific name? Thanks : )
BalasHapusAs in fighting like in the movie Blood and bone he was really light on his feet and seemed more fast and nimble than a guy of his size and bulk would be
BalasHapuswhat movies are similar to blood and bone, i know theres black dynamite played by the same actor and theres Japanese and Chinese marshal arts movies, but is there any specific movie you could compare to blood and bone?
