17 year old Aura is a teenager living in the year 1995, though her speech is more indicative of the 1800's. I decided that this was a result of being raised by an aristocratic family in England. She runs away from home and finds shelter in an abandoned cave. She wakes to discovers she is no longer living in the 19th century. Medieval homes, warriors riding horseback, wars claiming land.... Aura soon learns how to live in her new surroundings. While hiding up a tree, Aura witnesses a brave man battling his enemies. After being left for dead, Aura climbs from the tree and decides to care for the warrior. Once Thorn recovers, he decides to take advantage of his young carer and tries to have his way with Aura. She boots him from her cave and thinks to never see the brute again. After deciding to see more of her new world, Aura meets the Duke Vernon and is taken into his home. Soon after she meets the Lord Thorn and has to decide on wether to return to 1995 or stay with her new friends and family in England's medieval time.

I found the novel on the Goodreads website. It wasn't one of the most recommended but the reviews told of an enjoyable read. I wasn't disappointed. I cried during the first chapters and was captivated during the rest of the novel. I highly recommend this novel, author M A Abraham described Auras experiences so well it was so very easy to become absorbed in Auras world.
