The Martian Chronicles Ray Bradbury
I still remember the first time I read this book. It was in English 11th grade and none of us wanted to read it. But it turned out to be one of my favorites. I recently bought this new edition, new dates and all (not a big deal to me), and fell in love with it all over again. Sure, it is dated in some ways but the imagination, the storytelling, the poetic writing are masterful. Only Bradbury could momentarily briefly bring summer to the winter lands using the exhaust from rocket engines.
My favorites are And the Moon Be Still as Bright, which still makes me sad about Spender and I was startled at how violent the one scene at breakfast, and the final story The Million Year Picnic, which is sad and wonderful. But there are no weak stories in this book, not to me. It reminds me why I love to read. But it helps to have Bradbury's words. They are a joy to read.
that's it....What are the most important parts of The Martian chronicles by Ray Bradbury?
BalasHapusWhat chapter? The Martain Chronicles by Ray Bradbury
BalasHapusI recently read two of Ray Bradbury stories, The Martian Chronicles and The Illistrated Man. I read a story in which many long dead poets are together and doing something which i dont recall, just that there were many poets. What was the name of this short story and was it in the Martian Chronicals or the Illistrated man?
BalasHapusI was looking for an ebook download for Ray Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles" but I don't have a Kindle or a Nook or rather; just my iPhone. Is there any way I can download this onto the iBook app or something rather (no, I will not jailbreak it if that's a factor)? Thanks in advance!
BalasHapusI'm havign issues getting the words on paper, but i have an idea of what Spender represents
