Invicta Diver Collection Automatic Watch
I've had this watch for about a month and am amazed at the quality-for-price. I gave my 30-year old Rolex Explorer to my son as a present.
I bought this watch because I really miss the Rolex and the Invicta looks a lot like it.
I don't see how they can make a watch this good and sell it at that price. It's got the weight, looks and accuracy of a much more expensive watch. If it doesn't last 30 years, you can buy 20 or 30 of them for about the price of a prestige brand. It's a good-looking watch that doesn't betray its price. You have to look closely to tell it's not a Rolex or Omega. Performance-wise they are very close and it won't break your heart if you lose it or someone steals it.
It's better than I expected and I am delighted. (Sort of reluctant to praise it too much. Like discovering a good new restaurant, it's tempting to keep it a secret.)
I want to get one of my good friends a new watch for his birthday. I want something that isn't crazy expensive but still high quality. Im looking at a price range anywhere up to about $120
BalasHapusI am looking for an affordable model with a swiss automatic movement. I define affordable (in regard to my current income) as below $300. I currently purchased an Invicta 8296 with the Japanese movement which has sparked my interest in mechanical watches and perhaps watch collecting (which is probably not the most affordable hobby ;).
BalasHapusI work at Costco and it seems like everybody and their brother is wearing either a Rolex Sub or a Rolex Datejust. I think this is cool, but im just wondering whether these watches are fake, were given as gifts, or if this many people actually go out and spend 4-7K on a watch. The funny thing is not all of these folks even drive nice cars, nice being newish bmw's, mercedes, exe. Just curious what the secret is??
